6. Withdrawal & refunds

Consumers in the EU have a statutory 14-day right to withdraw from distance contracts, subject to exceptions (digital content supplied after explicit consent and acknowledgement of loss of withdrawal right). If you exercise withdrawal we will refund within 14 days of being informed.

For consumers outside the EU, local consumer laws may apply; as a uniform business rule we (a) offer refunds for proven non-conformity or technical non-access where we cannot remedy the problem within a reasonable time, (b) may grant discretionary refunds in exceptional cases, and (c) generally do not refund after access/download has been granted following the buyer’s prior consent.

Once an immediate access is granted (downloads, course login, streamed content), refunds are generally not available unless the content is faulty or inaccessible and cannot be fix promptly. Where such content is part of a course, proportional refund will be honoured, see our refund policy below.

To request a refund or report an access problem, contact info@michaelajirouskova.com within 14 days of purchase.

7. Our refund policy

By booking and completing checkout you accept our terms outlined on this page and (where applicable) consent to immediate provision of services.

  • Digital products & courses (instant access): No refunds once access is granted (exceptional discretionary refunds may be offered).
  • Private sessions require at least 48 hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the appointment will incur a 50% fee; no-shows are charged 100% of the session fee.
  • When purchasing a package of session, you may cancel your order within 14 days from the date of purchase. Sessions within package that have been already attended are non-refundable, but you can receive partial refund for the remaining session. A minimum 48h notice is required before your next session takes place, otherwise a 50% fee is charged for that particular session and a full price of any remaining sessions in the package will be refunded.
  • Live seminars: If a course includes a physical book, you have 14-day statutory right of withdrawal from receipt; refunds will be issued within 14 days after we receive the returned book. We may reduce refunds for any diminished value. For digital books/downloads: purchases are non-refundable once access/download is granted and this cost will be deducted from the overall refunded cost.
  • Practice groups: Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the session. Cancellations after that time are refundable at 50% (to cover administrative and replacement costs). No-shows are non-refundable as this impacts the dynamic of a whole group. By registering you acknowledge these limitations and accept them as a condition of booking.
To request refunds/cancellations contact info@michaelajirouskova.com.
